The start of a new year is a natural point to look ahead.
At Forest Invasion Synthesis Centre, Prague, we enter 2026 continuing our work on biological invasions, with curiosity about the questions to come and enthusiasm for what the year may offer.
The coming months will bring new impulses to the centre. We look forward to welcoming new colleagues and to the formation of a new working group, further broadening the range of expertise, perspectives, and ideas within FISC.
Some of the most valuable insights emerge through exchange, and we look forward to the ideas that the coming year may bring. We are excited to see which collaborations and conversations will take shape over the course of the year — through ongoing partnerships as well as new connections.
We warmly welcome engagement from researchers, practitioners, and partners interested in contributing to the synthesis of knowledge on forest invasions and their impacts.
We invite you to follow our activities, stay connected, and join us as 2026 unfolds.
