Her research focuses on plant ecology, with a particular emphasis on hybridisation processes and landscape drivers that shape the distribution of invasive species. She examines how ecological and evolutionary mechanisms interact across spatial scales to influence plant population dynamics. A key aspect of her work lies at the science–practice interface, where she actively facilitates the transfer of scientific knowledge to professional communities, including landscape architects, landscape planners, and foresters, to support evidence-based decision-making in management.
Outside of work, I love being outdoors, especially in the mountains and rocky landscape, gardening, hiking, and cross-country skiing. I enjoy rock music, reading, joga, and I am a big fan of animals, particularly dogs and cats, whose individuality and optimism I truly admire.
